Latest products in the 8BPLUS climbing range

Brand: 8BPLUS

8BPLUS are known for their distinctive chalk bag characters, but here's the latest addition to their product range - backpacks!

What else is new? Well, their SAVE THE OCEAN boulder brush is going down a treat, it is made from 100% recycled plastic which would've otherwise stayed in our oceans, adding to plastic pollution.

Backpacks

In keeping with their efforts to bring something for everyone, 8BPLUS have released 4 different colours in their new backpack range. Some more vibrant, and some more tonal. Each backpack has a name, just like their chalk bag monsters, some even match up as distant relatives and share colourways, which surely means one thing... matching set? The names of these new bags are Philip, Maxine, Arja and Harry.

So, now we know what they look like, it's time to find out if they'll hold up as a durable climbing rucksack, do they tick all the boxes? Here are the main features of these bags:

  • Rolltop and side access
  • 24 L rolled down, 38 L rolled up
  • Magnetic closure and YKK zips
  • 1260 D ballistic nylon bottom, 840 D top
  • Skin-friendly lining and straps
  • Unique reinforced button closure
  • Removable hip belt
  • Max load 35 kg
  • 1025 g

Save the Ocean Climbing Brush with #tide

8BPLUS partnered with #tide ocean material to reduce plastic pollution in our oceans and coastlines. They've come up with the first climbing brush made 100% out of ocean waste.

Great to see this boulder brush in the range, hopefully a sign of more to come from 8BPLUS in their efforts to be more environmentally conscious. It has been popular so far and seems to function really well too.

Chalk Bag Monsters
If you haven't yet met the characters that make up the collection of 8BPLUS chalk bag monsters then explore the range. Each character has a personality described in 3 words, match it to your own or pick a monster buddy you'd like to hang out with.

8BPLUS also have a great range of chalk and accessories.
